You might not always be around to see exactly what game your child is playing. What if a game is inappropriate for the age of your child, and you are not there to prevent it from being played? Now you can have peace of mind and easily block games that are meant for older children or adults. The Parental GameLock allows parents to safeguard children from the potentially harmful content of adult-themed games. This helpful invention installs a program onto a memory card, and then lets you determine the allowable age setting for games. Each time the PlayStation 2 is turned on or reset, the console will access the software on the memory card prior to loading a game. If a game has an age rating higher than you have allowed, the GameLock will not let the game be played.
