Let's see what Yahoo Buzz Says:
"Lost" crashed back into the television lineup last week, and the buzz continues to wash upwards. Here are a few of the things we've learned from the fastest moving searches for the air wreck drama:
1. This series makes people want to talk. The two biggest spikes over the past seven days were "lost forum" (+1,817%) and "lost theories" (+1,491%). Our favorite speculation? Aliens. Enough said.
2. Fans loves Freckles. Evangeline Lilly's Kate is the only character on the show to draw her very own buzz. Searches for "lost kate" jumped more than 500% over the past week. Why "lost sawyer" isn't posting higher numbers, we don't know.
3. Fans love Web extras even more. Two fictitious elements of the mysterious saga—The Dharma Initiative and Oceanic Airlines—are pulling in record amounts of lookups. Interest in "flyoceanicair.com," the airline's "official" site, has soared. Lookups for "oceanic" alone is up more than 2,000%. Coincidence? This is "Lost." There's no such thing as coincidence.
4. Optimists watch this show. Can the Web answer the unanswerable? "Lost" searchers seem to think so, and they've turned to the Search box in huge numbers to ask "how will lost end." If only the Web—or the show's writers—knew.
